Plano special-ed middle-school teacher arrested for sexually assaulting 14-year-old student
And also for getting him drunk.
PLANO Middle school teacher Mariane Kieffer has been charged with having an improper relationship between an educator and a student and sexual assault of a child.
Kieffer, 39, a teacher at Carpenter Middle School, allegedly got a 14-year-old student drunk on Crown Royal and had sex with him in her son's bedroom. The student said they'd had sex between 5 and 10 times. She's been placed on paid administrative leave.

This is happening all over the country. Go to www.schoolteachernews.com and click on the Scandal page. This year they have documented over 300 of these types of incidents. In 2008 they found 478 of these kinds of cases.

Doyle's lesson of the day: If you're going to whore out your news aggregating page, least you can do is link to PegNews on said page.

triumph110: 478 cases out of probably millions of schools across the country isn't really cause for a panic.
And sure it's happening all over the country. I'd be crazy concerned if it was only restricted to one state.

Dunno about millions of schools, considering back in 2007 there were only <a href="http://www.census.gov/Press-Release/www/releases/archives/facts_for_features_special_editions/007108.html">6.8 million teachers</a>.
But I concur, 478 out of 6.8 million isn't going to keep me from carting any future chilluns off to school.
