Dallas pulls the trigger, pink-slips hundreds of city employees
As anticipated, the City of Dallas has begun laying off employees as part of their effort to deal with the $190 million budget shortfall.
Dallas Zoo employees were particularly hard hit, as about 200 of them were let go -- thanks in part to the recent decision to privatize management of the facility.
