This weekend’s Dallas-based Jack E. Jett show to feature comedians, drag queens and a naked cowboy

1

This Saturday's Jack E. Jett radio show will feature guest host Jeff Crilley, former Fox 4 news reporter (and current PR firm chief). Jeff will play third mic to Jack and his trusted sidekick John No-Dough. Guest will include:

* Vince Hannemann, who created a Cathedral of Junk in -- where else? -- weird ol' Austin

* Leslie Jordan, Emmy winner for his performance in Will & Grace

* Bob Barker, who undoubtedly needs no introduction to anyone who grew up watching game shows on network TV

* Lady Bunny, from the film Wigstock, a party icon who (it says here) is the only drag queen to have appeared in Vogue, Harpers, and WWD.

On Sunday, Jack and John welcome radio legend Rick Vanderslice to the studio. Rick will assist the regulars with their grilling of:

* Tim and the Legion of Rock Stars (worst rock & roll band in the world?), who play covers while listening to the original band's performance on headphones

* Jeff Sharlet, author of The Family, who recently appeared on The Daily Show to talk about Washington's fundamentalist Christian power elite

* Dominic Cancillia, who apparently has something to do with Disney Lies.

* Kathy Garver (Sissy from Family Affair), who has a new cookbook out

* The Naked Cowboy, New York City mayoral candidate but -- perhaps more to the point -- a studly fellow who parades around the Big Apple without a great deal of clothing (except for hat and boots)

Both shows air at 1 p.m. North Texas time on Rational Radio, which is 1360 on the AM dial.
