Applications for Dallas ISD school board being accepted
Candidates planning to run for a seat on the Dallas ISD School Board have until 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 2 to file. The special election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, will decide who will represent District 1 (Northwest Dallas), District 3 (Northeast Dallas), and District 9 (South Dallas and parts of downtown).
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled and must reside in the area they wish to represent. For a complete list of eligibility requirements, visit the following link.
Application packets are available in the Board Office at the Administration Building, 3700 Ross Ave.
