Collins Road at U.S. 80 in Sunnyvale will be completely closed Thursday (August 20)
SUNNYVALE — The Department of Transportation will allow the closing of SH 352 (Collins Road) at U.S. 80 on Thursday, August 20, 2009 for construction crews to hang beams for the new U.S. 80 overpass under construction. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m.
Signs announcing the closure have been in place for at least seven days prior.
W.W. Webber is the contractor on this $25 million project to upgrade the overpass and frontage roads of U.S. 80 at Collins Road. The project is expected to be complete in April of 2011.
