Coppell city staff organizes public meeting to talk about plans for Old Town Development
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. in the training room of Fire Station #3 (133 Parkway Blvd.) so that Coppell city staff can present plans and gather public input from citizens regarding the proposed Old Town development.
Coppell was originally known as Grapevine Springs, and then as Gibbs, prior to ending up with the present name -- courtesy of an 1890s-era railroad man. The site of Old Town is near the present Grapevine Springs Park, near the intersection of Bethel and Coppell Roads.
