Fort Worth burglar signs for TV delivery mid-heist
Fort Worth resident Josh Tipton had his home ransacked on August 7, with the burglar making off with two televisions and golf clubs. However, Tipton was expecting a delivery of another TV, and when he inquired at FedEx as to the status of the delivery, they informed him that "someone" signed for the TV on the same day as the burglary. Which, of course, leads to the presumption that the thief had the sheer gall to make his presence known, at least to a delivery man.
The kicker? Since the TV never entered his home, it is not covered under Tipton's homeowner's insurance policy.
