Kids and family events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, August 19-25
Just a few events on tap as we mourn the end of summer...
The Women's Museum in Dallas will host ArtVentures on Saturday, August 22, which will consist of family-centered activities where parents and kids will explore life through the creation of art inspired by Roberta Harris’ exhibit, UP.
Also on Saturday, Market Street in Plano will wrap up their Summer Road to Riches game with a Road to Riches Summer Game Road Rally. Not sure what that means, exactly, but this indicates that there will be free food, balloons, face painting, and "a Disney Channel" celebrity on hand, so I'm sure it'll be fun.
Finally, on Sunday, August 23, the Denton Childbloom Guitar Ensemble will perform at the Art Six Coffee House in Denton. Come watch the musicians of tomorrow ... today!
