Dallas stylist Holly Quartaro shares her “hot list” for back-to-school
DALLAS Galleria Dallas fashion stylist Holly Quartaro has evaluated all the newest fashion trends for savvy students, and shares a few easy tips to go from drab to fab this fall. “There are some great new fashions available for the Back to School season,” Quartaro says. “With a few smart purchases, North Texas teens can even transition great summer pieces into their fall wardrobes.”
Quartaro pairs plaids for guys and girls, layered with screen printed t-shirts and tanks.
She also encourages fashion-forward girls to layer with a dressy look. “This fall, you can pair great ruffle front dresses with the latest long boyfriend cardigans,” notes Quartaro. “Or, you can pair a boyfriend jacket and t-shirt with bright leggings or skinny jeans in a great grey wash.”
“There are several key trends shaping back to school this year,” notes Quartaro. “We’re seeing a real return to preppy, but with new lines and bright, bold colors. The rocker look is back, too, with skinny jeans. Girls are flocking to dressy looks with tunics and dresses with ruffles and patterns layered over leggings.”
