Governor Rick Perry still doesn’t think Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison will run against him
DALLAS Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison has unveiled her plans to run for Texas governor several times, and this week she finally made it official. But current Governor Rick Perry isn't convinced she's serious about it, he told a group as he signed a bill in Dallas on Wednesday, August 19.
Perry's people say Hutchison's tour isn't going well and she may not continue. To that, Hutchison's campaign spokesman, Joe Pounder, told the Star-Telegram, "This kind of arrogance is typical of someone who wants to be governor for life." Boom. Roasted.

He might be right. If she sees she's not going to win I look for her to resign campaign before she resigns as US Senator and as it stands she's not doing nearly as well as she thought she would. Her arrogant past is coming back to haunt her. BOOM!

Is there no one in Texas who really might have an interest in running the greatest state in the Union?? Are we like Lott in search of just one honest & just man because I fear that neither of the candidates currently running will truly keep the best interests of the Texas Citizen in mind. Rick Perry has proven time and time again he won't. And since Kay is really basically an enigma - I'm not sure that she will hold any of our wishes in high esteem (She didn't when she represented us in Washington.)
