Crazy. I was at the mall for about two minutes today to drop off my daughter for work and it was a mob scene. Maybe I'm strange, but who deals with the parking gridlock and lines at the register for an 8% discount? I'm as libertarian as the next guy, but good grief! I'd rather pay taxes than deal with that mess.

That's why I went to Staples midday after my first class today. A few people but no lines. Got my Uniball pens and post-its. I filled up on paper when it was a penny so I'm all good.

Now clothes... eh don't care.

You had class today? Stinks to be you, unless it was something fun like lab band. Got the bad news re my daughter's books this semester. What a freaking racket! And $150 a month for a half hour of private tutoring every week on her instrument (piano). Sure hope this guy is as awesome as we're being told he is because she isn't even getting stinking credit for it; not officially accepted into the music department as a major.

Classes at UTD started on Thursday but I don't have classes on Thursday. I had my first ever Friday classes today. :

And I only spent $100 on my textbooks this year. Most of my money went towards my Gender Roles class which is said since all of my other classes are engineering classes... I managed to find an ebook for "free" :p

I'm with Momzilla. I'd rather get my eyelids stuck together with crazy glue than do that again.

A sucker for punishment, I went with the three kids to Target and the mall today - to get school supplies and some necessities for school - and it left me like Goldie Hawn's character in Overboard - you know - "buh buh buh buh buh buh buh..." needing a dunk in a nice cold wash barrel (or beer barrel - whatever...).

Really - these people have no idea the road-rules of store aisles. They will run right over you - with a shopping basket, their grandmother, their car....

I love the tax break, but it's just not worth the crowd to me anymore. Luckily the lines today in DFW area weren't too bad at Target - but the mall was a MESS. MESS, I SAY!

I'm at Northpark right now and it isn't so bad. Found parking with no problem and no one has bumped into me.
