Fort Worth ISD classrooms roll out digital, networked whiteboards
The Fort Worth Independent School District is spending $23 million to put digital electronic whiteboards into every classroom.
Not only will the whiteboards require no chalk, they'll also be connected to student handheld wireless devices so that students can -- um -- text stuff back in response to what's on the board at the front of the room.
Plus, they won't have to come up to the front of the class to write "I will not spit at Missy Samson" 100 times.
Worth every penny, we're sure.
