Plano declared most visible Internet city in Dallas area

The Dallas neighborhoods have just completed their version of the internet Olympics to see which neighborhood was the most internet visible. After an exhausting eight events a clear champion has been crowned! Here is the play by play of the Challenge

Event 1: The Wikipedia Challenge

Which neighborhood has the most extensive Wikipedia page (measured in number of words in the article)? And Richardson breaks into an early lead with a dominating performance, almost 3,000 more words on their page than any other Dallas neighborhood.

Event 2: The Technorati Cup

Technorati is a blog search engine. This event was to see which neighborhoods had the most blog posts registered with Technorati. And the results ... Irving nudges Plano at the wire for the victory!

Event 3: The Google Blog Championships

Using Google Blog search, which neighborhood has the most blog posts about it? In this event Plano claimed its first victory!

Event 4: Neighborhood Historyathalon

Which neighborhood has the most web pages about its history? Plano again takes a victory, the first neighborhood to two victories.

Event 5: Neighborhood Sports Face off

Which neighborhood has the most web pages about sports in its area? Plano wins a crushing victory over the competition.

Event 6: The Flickr Bowl

What neighborhood has the most photos on the popular photo sharing website? And again, Plano dominates the competition with a victory margin of almost 800 photos.

Event 7: The Facebook 500

Which neighborhood has the most groups related to it on Facebook? Plano wins again. This is starting to be a landslide!

Event 8: YouTube Video Series

In the last event, which neighborhood has the most videos on YouTube? Again, Plano takes the cake.

So after the eight-event challenge a clear winner has been named: Plano, the most internet visible Dallas neighborhood!

True......................The outerplex with its car culture would have this kind of connection....but, they are out of the loop if the system goes down..A/T, Wanna read the paper on line soon...
