North Texans in Barnett Shale feel effects of sinking natural gas prices
Natural gas prices are at their lowest in seven years. People in the oil'ngas industry and the citizens who receive royalty checks (from leasing their mineral rights) are seeing considerably less activity. September contracts for natural gas traded as low as $2.80 per MMBtu on Friday -- a combined effect of the recession and of supply and demand.

Heck, they never even started drillin' the hole they paid us to sign for! I sure could use that extra $2.80 right about now...

Too bad you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. Why even post when you're knowledge is extremely limited?

What did we get wrong FWSoccerDad? Based on your email addy, it appears you work for an oil and gas company focused on the Barnett Shale, so you should certainly have enough info to set us straight.
