City of Arlington teams with Wal-Mart for ecofest event
Live in Arlington? Wanna learn how to reduce your use of natural resources? Discuss environmental issues facing North Texas? Sing Kumbaya? (C'mon, you know you want to.)
Follow your Gaia guide to Founders Plaza (100 W. Abram St.) on Saturday, Sept. 19, where -- from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. -- the City of Arlington and corporate sponsor Wal-Mart will put on a range of eco-friendly consciousness-raising activities, including the discussion-based ones mentioned above.

For kids, there will be games and (argh) educational classes throughout the day, designed (it says here) to "engage and delight the participants."
At dusk, a tongue-in-cheek documentary called Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home will screen at dusk on the great lawn in front of the Levitt Pavilion.
Following the film, at about 9 p.m., singer Patrice Pike and her band will close out the evening's festivities with a live performance.

Me too in spirit Cho, I love the eyeball glow you have, tells me you know how to recycle too, we all should, while it may be an old can or paper, hey it needs a home, and then it will come back to you.... all new...A/T, Lets recycle in our Modern Zoo...
