My Denton Music Showcase: Trebuchet, Bronze Whaler, Siren City and Project H -- Friday, August 28 at The Boiler Room
Join My Denton Music on Friday, August 28 at The Boiler Room as we feature some of the most hard-rocking local bands! We've put together a HUGE line-up:
Trebuchet -- This band rocks!!! They recently released their double-disc album Bear and the Moon to rave reviews. Trebuchet is a must-see Denton rock band!
Bronze Whaler -- An awesome Denton rock band, who have recently released a six-song EP Rise With The Tide.
Siren City -- Their long awaited debut EP is currently in reproduction and should be ready for distribution soon. In the mean time catch this awesome band live!
Project H -- If you've never seen these guys live in Denton, they're an out of town act to catch as they make a point to include the little d on their tour route.

Spune Ice Cream Social -- Saturday, August 29 at Hailey's
What a unique concept this is. A back to school ice cream social. Oh yeah, it's free! Be sure to bring your own ice cream. There is going to be ping pong, video games, ticket giveaways, and photo booths.
Performances by Telegraph Canyon, Matthew Delves into the Humanity Pools, Baruch the Scribe, and many more.
Brave Combo -- Saturday, August 29 at Dan's Silverleaf
Denton legends Brave Combo bring their award-winning act to Dan's once again. They are still one of the best bands in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and an absolute must see if you live in Denton. These guys always put on a great show, especially at Dan's. Should be plenty of fun.

Denton may be where I am heading this weekend, grab the gang and get out of the tomb, of concrete and steel and heat and high prices to live in the igloo zoo....let's see and this should be a great event...A/T, The more the merry to get to a new tune...

Denton's gonna be pretty bumpin' this weekend. First weekend with all the students back is usually pretty wild. There are approximately three-five shows I want to be at each night (including Sunday) -- Maybe I'll sleep mid-September.
