United Way of Denton County launches redesigned website
DENTON United Way of Denton County announces the launch of a redesigned website at www.unitedwaydenton.org.
The new site presents the work of United Way in a visually pleasing and easy-to-use format. Prominently featured on the site’s homepage are links to information about United Way’s three action areas: Give, Advocate and Volunteer. There users will find helpful information about how to donate to United Way, how to reach out to others and advocate for those without a voice, and how to volunteer your time in the service of others.
The website also provides a wealth of information about United Way’s three focus areas: Education, Income and Health. Users will be introduced to United Way’s 10-year goals for each of these areas and find easy to read illustrations detailing how United Way donations are put to work in the community.
Other special features include emergency and disaster preparedness information, links to the Denton County Community Services Directory and the informational brochure “Weathering the Economic Storm,” as well as information about United Way’s 26 partner agencies.
“We’ve made the website very user-friendly and there is a wealth of information that is so much easier to access,” said United Way of Denton County President and CEO Lilia Bynum. “We’re thrilled with it and very excited to be able to unveil it to the public.”
