Dallas police site goes down briefly due to billing disagreement
The Dallas Police Department's online reporting site was briefly shut down Tuesday after the company that runs the site, Butler Solutions, said that the department had not paid them for their services since January. Butler restored service around 8:30 p.m. For their part, the department says they owe no money to Butler, believing the shutdown to be a strong-armed tactic toward getting a new contract.
