Duncanville pool users frowning over three-month shutdown
DUNCANVILLE Duncanville's school district shut down its pool for three months in order to cut costs, which has upset some swimmers. A few people who use the pool say they wish they had been consulted because they'd be willing to pay more to use it. Uh yeah -- right now, they're paying $100 a year; try getting that kind of rate at any regular gym. One lady points out that she swims because she's missing a kidney -- this is life or death, people.
