Owners of Arcadia Theater site on Lower Greenville in Dallas hope to start construction on development this spring
DALLAS Dallas-based developer Madison Partners, owners of the site of the former Arcadia Theater on Lower Greenville, insist that they're still gonna build an "eco-friendly" development on the site, "within a year".
The building was first earmarked as a "green" project last April, to be done by spring 2009. I guess they still need more tenants? They say they have two -- a community market and a restaurant but won't say who. The space has held a makeshift garden center since the theater burned down in 2005.

Rebirth... of an old location and yet, it was the center of the early village of Greenville ave dating back to the 1900's..... where..,oh well..... like Cedar Springs, this area is not as old but was a Model T Ford road that later became a strip, while the Arcadia Theatre was lost, the concept of the new is now important, filling in an area tha makes Lakewood envious...good follow up T.G from the old strip..... A/T, On locations comming back to life.
