Dang, who carries a switchblade? What is this, West Side Story?

Jason Rice says:
Shocking that someone would walk around with such a known dangerous weapon in a public park no less.
And the man with a switchblade is a surprise too.

Well, it looks like she's going to be okay. Otherwise I'd feel bad making a "don't bring a face to a knife-fight" joke if she ended up being horribly disfigured.

Jesus H., nevermind mind that the lady was treated and released at the scene - then commented that she won't press charges b/c it was an accident...
LET'S MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT FOR HER!
Love me some DMN drama. I'd sooner hear about Denny's giving away early heart-attacks, tbh.

Isn't it already a rule that aggressive dogs are not allowed at the park?

Dude, if someone getting face-stabbed isn't news, I'm not sure what your criteria are.

Accidents involving a slight cut that's treatable at the scene with no charges being pressed isn't exactly the news I care to read online, kthxbye.

TBH, you say? Are you NBH the rest of the time? Besides, you're just pissed they don't let your kind in the dog parks...

Matt Wolfgang says:
I was there. It was NOT a switchblade. It was a small pocket knife. This lady had THREE UN-NEUTERED MALE DOGS at the dog park. The attack by her dog was the most vicious I've ever seen and I'm at the dog park at least 5 days a week. The Australian shepherd that her Pit Bull/Rhodesian Ridgeback cross attacked will require reconstructive surgery. They don't even know if her MINOR cut was caused by the knife or the dogs, or the picnic bench. The DMN really blew this big time. They misidentified the weapon, greatly exaggerated her injuries, and managed to find two people who thought that Pits should be banned. You don't have to spend much time at the dog park to discover that the vast majority of people there understand that this type of behavior is more a reflection of the owner than the dog.
