Wild Art: Photos of frozen weather and the Smoke Pit
Wild Art: Photos of frozen weather and the Smoke Pit
Yes, after a beautiful weekend of Texas winter weather in the 60's and 70's (which I am definitely rubbing in to all those out there who live up north), we do have some pics from our Flickr group to remind us that just a week ago DFW was coated in ice. I would also like to thank Digital Howie for throwing my boyfriend under the bus by posting the image and description of the Smoke Pit. My boyfriend loves that place, and he's always telling people to go there and raves about their Friday pork chop special (which is apparently some 4-inch thick pork chop or something ridiculously artery-clogging). Whenever we pass it he always points it out and continues the endless commentary on how awesome that pork chop is. As a pescetarian, I have no business eating at a BBQ joint so it was to my great surprise to find out that the waitresses at this coveted hole-in-the wall take the "less is more" approach to their uniforms. Funny, I don't recall the boy mentioning anything about waitresses. Thank you for enlightening me, Digital Howie, I am now off dish duty for a month.
