Dallas Museum of Art offers more Tut discounts for the day ‘o love
With every holiday comes a new opportunity for discounts to things, and the Tut exhibit is no exception. And what better way to spend Valentine's Day than looking at a dead guy's gold stuff, eh? Eh? The V-Day Tut special from the Dallas Museum of Art is as follows:
- With a purchase of a “King Tut Golden Gift Pack”—two VIP tickets and two audio tours for $49—anytime between February 2 and February 14, visitors will be eligible to receive a delectable “Valentine Indulgence Dessert for Two” in the Museum’s signature Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant. The “King Tut Golden Gift Pack” will be available for $49 through Ticketmaster until April 30, 2009.
- While enjoying lunch at Seventeen Seventeen Restaurant any day through February 14, visitors can exchange their King Tut exhibition receipt for a complimentary Valentine Indulgence Dessert (House-Made Chocolate Truffles & Champagne Toast for Two) with the purchase of any two luncheon entrées (reservations can be made by calling 214-922-1382; lunch service hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m.)

They need to throw in the audio tour for the regular price, stop charging $10 to park in the DMA parking lot and fix the stinky feet smell in the exhibit...

From the DMA, more discounts this weekend:
"This Friday, the Dallas Museum of Art in partnership with the Crow Collection of Asian Art will host a Late Night celebrating “Divine Kingship and Royalty” around the world. In addition to a night of music, lectures, tours and children’s activities at both locations, all for $10, visitors can view the King Tut show for 25% off the normal ticket price from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on this Friday, February 20. NOTE: The special 25% off tickets to Tut, which brings the price to $24 (originally $32.50), will be available to purchase at the Tut box office only. "
