Bernie Madoff scandal affected at least 10 Dallas-Fort Worth area residents
The full list of all those affected was released Wednesday.
A full list of everybody affected by the Bernie Madoff scandal was released yesterday, and deep among the 163 pages worth of names are at least 10 people from the Dallas-Fort Worth area (though some, like Ann Olesky and David Wallenstein, appear more than once).

I asked what a Steakburger is and the friendly staff stated "it is a very high grade of lean beef that is hand-crafted" thin on the edges and thicker in the middle. This makes for carmelization on the edges and a juicy center. The Hawaiian is a must eat on the custard menu. I will definitely be bringing my friends!

Couldn't your reporter have put alittle more effort into this story and listed the 10 D/FW people she says are victims of Madoff.
IMHO the Madoff people were greedy investors who were looking for extraordinarily high returns and took on the risk associated with such investments.
They weren't satisfied with the 2% to 4% they couuld have gotten in CDs, T bills, or other low risk investments.

CK, you're right -- here are the 10 or so names. As I mentioned above, some names are listed more than once, but I'll give you all of those instances for full disclosure. It's unclear if this means they had multiple accounts with Madoff or it was an error in compiling the list. For instance, Ann or David Olesky appear a total of eight times and David Wallenstein is associated with six different listings.
BTW, they're listed alphabetically by first name or company name. I also searched for mainly the big local cities -- there could possibly be some smaller local towns that I missed:

The list has some heavy hitters on it. The zip codes are mostly all high dollar environments - not unexpected!
Had the list contained 75210, 75223, or other similarly economic challenged locations I might have some level of sympathies for the investors. But this list is all POSH class, not "steerage" as AT might say.

It appears this list is heavily populated by attorneys who were acting as "trustees" for clients interests?
If so, they should have their licenses to practice revoked. At a minimum the Bar should investigate their handling of their client's interests.
