- oso closo and Telegraph Canyon should come off well in the intimate McDavid Studio.
- Kinetoscope at Panoptikon: A Steampunk Cotillion has something to do with Jules Verne's Birthday and features a fashion show, DJ's and a capella performances.
- Shibboleth plus King Ranch Casserole. That's a Friday night.
- A week before Valentine's, and there's a Chocolate Festival at the Denton Civic Center.
- Dallas has its first-ever Burlesque Festival at the historic Texas Theatre.
- Poor David's hosts a Reggae Festival.
