Business division of Richardson-based Time Warner Cable to provide Internet and video services to hotels
Time Warner Cable Business Class and Maximus Multimedia International announced an agreement in which TWCBC and Maximus will offer hotels in Time Warner Cable's service area a suite of services consisting of the cable company's Internet and video services along with the Maximus entertainment-on-demand service. Maximus provides in-room information and entertainment-on-demand systems.
The goal of the TWCBC / Maximus agreement is to offer travelers the same experience they receive in their home. "Hoteliers want to be able to serve their guests the highest quality in-room entertainment available," said Mike Harding, President and Chief Executive Officer of Maximus. "Time Warner Cable Business Class is a great strategic ally to be that complement to our services. We look forward to being the first choice for the hotelier's media needs."
"Time Warner Cable Business Class is delivering the most value and convenience to our hotel and hospitality customers across our Texas footprint," said David Roon, commercial sales vice president for TWCBC in Texas. "In addition to our full suite of business solutions including telephone, Internet and video services we're now able to deliver even more to our customers with video on demand provided by Maximus. Here's the benefit to travelers - they'll be able to access the same great Time Warner Cable products even while they're away from home."
