Todd Stewart's photographs will debut at PDNB Gallery with his series, The Garden. This work will be featured in the John Albok gallery.

Todd Stewart's project was conceived after his twins were born. His keen observation of how his children related to nature became his inspiration to this series. These beautiful color images offer the premise of how we define ourselves throughout our formative years as part of the natural world. The artist states, "Using the metaphor of the garden to represent both nature and creation, I hope to explore the notion that we are all simultaneously part of, and separate from, this process."

Stewart's photographs have been exhibited in many shows across the country, recognized by museum curators at The Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego, The Whitney Museum of American Art; and publication editors including Aperture and the New York Times Magazine.

His book, Placing Memory/A Photographic Exploration of Japanese American Internment was released last fall.

Todd Stewart holds an MFA from Indiana University and currently is an Assistant Professor of Photography at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
