Arlington councilperson Kathryn Wilemon to host Town Hall Meeting on tourism impact
Deputy Mayor Pro-Tempore (and city council member) Kathryn Wilemon will host a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting place will be the Fire Training Center at 5501 Ron McAndrew Dr. in Arlington.
The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss how new development changes the dynamics of tourism, and how these changes impact residents and businesses in District 4. The meeting agenda includes a presentation led by Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) President and CEO Jay Burress.
The ACVB sells, markets and promotes Arlington as a getaway, vacation and convention destination to travelers, vacationers, meeting planners, travel writers and tour groups.
