Audio: Mandrake Society Radio interviews Dallas author Tuan N’gai
Tuan and I spend some time catching up, discussing Grammy cheers and jeers, and his new book, Little Brown Boy’s Blues.
While I’m preparing for the African-American LGBT writer’s festival, Fire and Ink III, in Austin this October (and you should be, too), I wanted to make sure I speak with more authors in our area who will be there. Listeners of Mandrake Society Radio podcast will be familiar with Tuan N’gai as my very first guest on the show in May of 2005. Tuan and I spend some time catching up, discussing Grammy cheers and jeers, and his new book, Little Brown Boy’s Blues.
Born originally in Wichita Falls, TX, Tuan has been instrumental in building the Dallas radically inclusive Christian worship group, Living Faith Covenant Church, and is also the co-founder of Operation Rebirth, a online resource to help B/black gay people address spiritual abuse found in Christian churches, many times directly from the pulpit. Tuan talks to me from Louisiana.
Also, check out the video series from Tuan N’gai called BRUTHA BIGNESS at YouTube.
