BlackFinn Restaurant and Saloon in Addison closed for a week for remodel
ADDISON BlackFinn American Saloon announced that starting the week of Feb. 9 they are giving their Addison location a facelift. The Addison favorite will be closed for updates the rest of the week and will reopen Friday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m.
The facelift will focus on new paint and flooring in the dining and bar areas, new décor, updating the private dining, adding new outdoor lounge furniture, and updating the bathrooms. BlackFinn will also install a state-of-the-art sound system, upgrade to HD TVs, and make changes to their menu and management staff.
"We pride ourselves on being a community gathering place," says BlackFinn's Director of Operations Chris Karas. "Our goal for the update is to give our guests the best experience possible through modern and fresh décor and to offer a higher level of food and service by adding new menu items and bringing in new management."
Leading Addison's management team is new Operating Partner Larry Plaisance. Plaisance has been in the restaurant industry for over a decade. Plaisance's past experience includes serving as the executive chef for Ruth's Chris Steak House and then moving to the front of the house as the partner of operations for Brio Tuscan Grille. "I'm looking forward to coming to Addison and being a part of this community and the evolution of BlackFinn American Saloon," says Plaisance.
Meanwhile, a second branch of BlackFinn will open in Arlington in the Arlington Highlands "urban village" in mid-March.
