Want to get your heart on? Then head for the stomach, it’s the quickest way to woo your lover. And to make sure you end up in the bedroom and not the doghouse, we’ve taken the liberty of pulling together a listing of some of the best V-day dining in town. Just think of us as an arrow of love shot straight at your ass to get you moving and, more importantly, making reservations. You’re welcome!

Beck & Forth: Central 214 (at Hotel Palomar)

Through Saturday, February 14

Fag Hag extraordinaire Blythe Beck is now peddling her naughty dining wares at Central 214, so open up and say ahhh BACON. The variety of VD menu offerings range from Virginia bay oysters on the half shell with pomegranate mignonette to grilled lobster and avocado capriccio with grapefruit vinaigrette. Plus, diners get to take home signature “Blythe Bites” to finish off the evening. The last time we had a “Blythe Bite” was after a bottle of tequila and an awkward game of vampire role-play.

Price: $48 per person (three-course); $62 per person ($5-course); www.central214.com

Simply Za Best: Dragonfly (at Hotel ZaZa)

Friday, February 13 & Saturday, February 14

Seatings begin at 5:30 p.m.

If you are feeling extra decadent splurge on a room to waddle back to (that’s sexy) after indulging in Dragonfly’s yummy prix fixe menu. Highlights include lobster in puff pastry with leeks and gooseberry sauce. (Hee, hee. We said gooseberry.) For dessert try chocolate raspberry Napoleon, we hear it will capture your sweet tooth. Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Cost: $75 per person; www.hotelzaza.com

Italian, Stallion: Ferré Ristorante e Bar

Friday, February 13 & Saturday, February 14

No, of course your date won’t think you are ashamed of him just because you drove to Fort Worth for Valentine’s dinner. You can just tell him it was all for the Tuscan-inspired delicacies like lobster ravioli, Chilean sea bass with creamy butternut-speck risotto, beef tenderloin with parsley-taleggio whipped potatoes and dark chocolate polenta cake. But keeping the bag on his head while you eat might reveal your true intentions.

Price: $40 per person; www.ferrerestaurant.com

Wok Of Love: Steel

Saturday, February 14

Seatings: 5:45 – 11:00 p.m.

Romance your babe with a little Asian persuasion. Selections on the prix fixe menu include special sushi presentations such as the romance roll, miso & sake marinated Chilean sea bass, grilled lamb sirloin with Szechuan peppercorn-zinfandel sauce and chocolate volcano cake. As for the eruption, well, that’s for after dessert – lavahhh.

Price: $65 per person; www.steeldallas.com

Father’s Figure: Daddy Jack’s Wood Grill

Saturday, February 14

Seatings: 5:30 – 11:00 p.m.

“If music be the food of gods, play on sister.” In addition to a three-course meal of seafood delicacies, Daddy Jack’s will be filled with live music. The perfect date for those couples who have nothing left to say to one another.

Cost: $39 per person; www.daddyjackswoodgrill.com
