Euless elementary school evacuated when student brought hand grenade to class
The ordeal would have been far less frightening had the student brought the instructions to class, as well.
What's the use in show-and-tell if you can't bring daddy's explosives collection to class?
Oakwood Terrace Elementary in Euless was evacuated on Thursday morning after a student brought a hand grenade to class. A teacher took the device, placed it on her desk, and then alerted school officials.
Though the pin was still intact, police found that the grenade had been hollowed out.
