Female-fronted pop/rock band Inner Frequency will be releasing their latest EP, Surge, tonight at Jack's Backyard. According to lead singer Cara Young's November blog post, one of the songs on the album is "new-to-you" new:
I don't want to release all the specifics yet about what songs they are, but one of them is one of the first three songs that Luke and I recorded in his bedroom almost 4 years ago! We weren't even planning on recording that tune, but when I sent Will all of the songs to listen to, that one really jumped out at him. I'm so glad that he wanted to do it, because it is actually my favorite out of all three.
If you RSVP'd to tonight's show, you'll get a free copy of the EP. If you just happen by and like what you hear, you can always download the tunes online tomorrow. Also on the lineup are Merry and the Mood Swings.
