SEC files suit against former Dallas stockbroker Joshua Lankford
DALLAS The Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil lawsuit on Tuesday against former Dallas stockbroker Joshua Lankford who, with two partners, allegedly perpetrated a "pump and dump" stock scam that reaped more than $20 million.
Lankford, George David Gordon of Tulsa, Okla., and David Sheptycki of Canada appear to have been implicated by another scam artist, Mark Lindberg. The trio hyped the stocks of National Storm Management Group, Deep Rock Oil and Gas, and Global Beverages Solutions, then cashed out themselves.
They deny it all.
