Dallas-based Chief Oil & Gas launches new Marcellus Shale Web site
Chief Oil & Gas this week launched a redesigned Web site, to enhance Chief's ability to communicate information about its business to the communities in which it works and provide easy-to-find answers to many common questions.
"The new Web site is a reflection of what we do in person in the communities where we work," said Kristi Gittins, Vice President for Chief Oil & Gas. "It will help visitors learn more about our company, our values and the work we're doing in their area. It is also a great resource for learning more about natural gas development and its economic benefits as well as the environmental protections we have in place each step of the way."
The site features several interactive videos that illustrate the development process and the benefits of natural gas to the nation and the environment. It also provides information on Chief's commitment to protecting water and other natural resources and the ways in which Chief has given back to the communities in which it operates.
"Because many people are unfamiliar with natural gas development, especially natural gas produced from shale, we hope the Web site will help them better understand our business, our commitment to safety, and how their communities will benefit," Gittins said.
