Dallas City Council signs on to convention center hotel
The Dallas City Council signed an agreement Wednesday night to develop and run the contentious convention center hotel. Hiring Matthews Southwest to build the hotel, the council is now tasked with selling $346 million in revenue bonds. However, voters could still get their say in May after opponents were able to get an anti-hotel referendum on the ballot.
