Tarrant County College will spend another $34.4 million on construction of new campus buildings
Trustees of Tarrant County College voted 4-3 Thursday night (Feb. 19) to spend an additional $34.4 million on campus buildings already under construction in order to make them fit for classroom use.
The TCC administrators have been mulling over the option of selling the uncompleted structures to a business purchaser, but their contract consultant reports that the facilities will be best suited as classrooms.
Meanwhile, a former Radio Shack office complex purchased to be used by the college will reportedly be up and running for the fall semester. It will be referred to as the Trinity River Campus.
