DALLAS Add center Toby Petersen to list of injured Dallas Stars. Petersen was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a broken foot, and will miss at least one month.
Petersen, who was injured while blocking a shot in the second period of Monday night’s 1-0 loss to San Jose, will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Petersen joins Brad Richards (wrist), Brenden Morrow (knee), Sergei Zubov (hip) and Landon Wilson (ribs) the IR list. Richards could make it back by late in the regular season. Morrow and Zubov are not expected to return this season, although Morrow might return if the Stars make a late playoff run.
The Stars also recalled goalie Tobias Stephan from Bridgeport of the AHL Tuesday.
