Review: Legacy of Success Foundation’s Heritage Celebration 2009
Complete with local jazzers Linny Nance & Network, plus the groovalicious DJ Francis Jaye of the Dallas-based Neo Soul Cafe fame spinning hot soul/house cuts, the Legacy of Success Foundation’s “Heritage Celebration goes Cotton Club” event this past Saturday night was a fun evening that celebrated community leaders and organizers in the Dallas LGBT scene. While Gary with the “T” wasn’t a part of the evening as previously advertised and there were a couple of snags in the entertainment portion of the show, the participants looked like they thoroughly enjoyed the whole of the entertainment, food and camaraderie. Congrats to LOSF for a good show.
