For those of you that will be making your way back north from Austin on March 22nd, or for those of you that live around here and want to catch one of the better yearly concert extravaganzas, KHYI 95.3’s Texas Music Revolution is just around the corner!
This concert has been the area’s coming out party for many great artists. Hayes Carll and The Greencards put on shows that let people know they were for real with the 2005 edition. This year’s group is solid for sure. Junior Brown, Micky & the Motorcars, Darryl Lee Rush, Two Tons of Steel, The Tejas Brothers, 1100 Springs and many others.

I've been to this event several times. The music is generally very good, but Southfork Ranch is such a beating. To spend all day cooped up in a oversized barn with meager rations and over-priced beer sucks. No Hayes Carll this year.
