Dallas restaurateurs Kent and Tracy Rathbun host annual “Rathbun Art Party” on March 1

DALLAS — Kent Rathbun, executive chef and partner of Abacus and Jasper's, along with wife Tracy will host the annual Rathbun Art Party, delivering an evening of gourmet food and spectacular imagination while benefiting the Texas Chapter of March of Dimes. What began in 2003 as a simple way for local artists to showcase their works, this annual event has grown to become an evening that both sponsors and guests alike anticipate.

"Tracy and I want to say 'thank you' to these extremely talented artists who have come together with us to not only enhance our home and restaurants with their amazing artwork, but who have taken the time and energy to produce pieces for such a great cause," said Chef and event sponsor, Kent Rathbun. "By creating a new business model for 'selling art without selling out,' they can follow their artistic passions without financial barriers and social stigmas. The Rathbun Art Party is all about having fun, the way showing art should be."
