Fort Worth-based Ben E. Keith Company to begin distributing beer from Vermont craft brewer Magic Hat

1

Magic Hat Brewing Company, one of America's fastest growing craft brewers, is proud to announce the arrival of its renowned brews to Texas, beginning with draft distribution in Dallas and Fort Worth of its dry, crisp, refreshing offering, #9.

The leading libation in the Magic Hat line, the beverage known as #9 is a light-to-medium bodied creation whose nose of malts, fruit, and vanilla finishes dry, while its smooth, malty sweetness is accented by an understated hop bite.

Magic Hat is partnering with Fort Worth-based Ben E. Keith Company to bring the beverage to a variety of taprooms.

Brewer Bob Johnson and entrepreneur Alan Newman founded Magic Hat Brewing Company in 1994. In the years following the duo's very first 15-barrel batch of beer, the company has become one of New England's leading beer makers. Now distributed from Maine to Texas, Magic Hat is known for its distinctively flavorful offerings and imaginative recipes that take their cues from ancient brewing rituals. Created in the company's unique brewery, known as "The Artifactory," Magic Hat's family of fermentations includes three year-round beers, a full line of seasonal offerings, ever-changing Odd Notions, and a variety of limited edition single-batch concoctions. The beer maker has been hailed by the appreciative palates of grateful connoisseurs everywhere who find they enjoy the brewer's pours more than any they've explored before.
