Kirin Court in Richardson introduces new dinner menu with more than 100 items
Menu focuses on authentic Chinese first-courses and main dishes using the highest-quality ingredients available.
Kirin Court restaurant, acclaimed for its Chinese dim sum and ranked among Dallas' top ten weekend brunch settings, has unveiled a new dinner menu that supplements its lunch and weekend dim sum offering. The Richardson restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Kirin Court's new menu of 100-plus items focuses on authentic Chinese first-courses and main dishes using the highest-quality ingredients available, including many imported from Asia. New highlights include double-boiled chicken soup with American ginseng; sweet and sour pork spare ribs; deep-fried crab claws; and stir-fried beef with pickles or bitter melon in black bean sauce. The restaurant's popular lemon chicken returns on the new menu, as does its sparingly-glazed sweet and sour pork, shark's fin soup, crispy-roasted squab and Beijing duck. Most dinner main courses are priced from $9 to $15, with a new selection of wine and spirits now complementing the menu as well.
The restaurant's award-winning dim sum experience, offered daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., features table cart service in a bustling, authentic atmosphere, with carts continuously bringing an array of freshly-made small-plate dim sum items to each table for diners to sample. Popular favorites include siu mai, a traditional pork and shrimp dumpling that is a consistent best-seller among diners, as well as deep-fried prawns and caramelized duck. Each visit from one of the restaurant's fleet of carts brings a new choice for diners, who pay as little as $2.50 per plate that can be shared with one or more people.
With traditional Chinese dcor and elegant added banquet facilities for weddings and other large events, Kirin Court is located just off I-75 at 221 West Polk Street, second level, in Richardson. Situated 20 minutes from downtown Dallas and five minutes from the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts, the restaurant offers a convenient Dallas choice for dinner as well as pre-concert meals and events.

Is over 100 items really a good thing? Seems like they'd spread themselves too thin.

I liked their menu before although I also mostly went for Dim Sum. I hope they don't get too Americanized..
