Dallas driver who plowed into big red fire truck on North Central must have been busy with more important things

How could he failed to have seen something like this?

How could he failed to have seen something like this?

The driver of what appears to be a compact four-door sedan crashed headlong into a parked emergency vehicle (as in "big red fire truck with its flashing red lights on") parked on southbound Central Expressway near Lovers Lane in Dallas early Friday (Jan. 2).

The fire truck was parked there to act as a buffer so firefighters could safely put out the car fire on the other side of the parked truck. Good thing it was there.

No one already on the scene was injured, but the driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene. (Because there were emergency personnel already on hand and all.)

…wonders if this would be a good way to meet hunky firemen...

I'm relatively certain no firefighter wants to be involved with someone dense enough to plow into their parked truck.

But good luck. =p

Let's test your theory. Let me borrow your car for just a minute.

Hope you don't have a bad back. Reaching under the dash to spark those wires can be a pain sometimes.

Kind of hard to miss a "big red fire truck with its flashing red lights on" - oh, yeah, that's right, he didn't miss it.
