Fort Worth’s Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary closes daycare facility
While one local Baptist center for higher learning is apparently prospering, another finds itself struggling to make ends meet.
Fort Worth's Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is being forced by economic conditions to close its pre-school child care center and cut some of its programs.
This comes on the heels of their decision last month to cut back on the school's financial aid facility.
Various overseas study trips and an Oxford study program will also be suspended, with an eye toward reinstating them in 2010 - if the economy cooperates.
