When Dallas Independent School District Superintendent Michael Hinojosa appears on the Hoy en America local cable talk show Thursday morning (Jan. 8), it'll be the first time he's done a sit-down, talk-it-out interview since the announcement of the big financial shortfall situation that's taken place within his organization. Not to mention a bunch of other pesky issues that seem to keep rearing their ugly heads.
And he'll be talking about it in Spanish - at least, for the most part - as the televised (and internet-streamed) conversation is being addressed to the local / regional Spanish-speaking community.
Dr. Hinojosa will be the featured guest of program host Fernando Romano, who will be accepting questions emailed in from the community prior to the broadcast - and maybe even during it. (Send your questions to indallas@dallasimedia.net).
The program airs on the iMedia Network (Time Warner Channel 95; Verizon Fios Channel 44) from 9 a.m. 'til 10 a.m., or you may stream it from here by selecting the appropriate channel from the left-hand sidebar. It will also be repeated at 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
