Dallas Mavericks 107, L.A. Clippers 102
The L.A. Clippers, who could only dress the minimum eight players required in an NBA game, put forth a mighty effort against the fully staffed Dallas Mavericks. But a badly whiffed three-pointer in the final seconds of the game allowed Dallas to win at home, 107-102.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 34 points, while Josh Howard pulled out 22. Jason Kidd had 10 rebounds and eight assists. The rookie shooting guard for the Clippers, Eric Gordon, scored 32 points and had six assists.
