Shiny Around the Edges

Denton band Shiny Around the Edges is anticipating its March 10, full-length debut on Long Beach, CA-based label Sounds Are Active.

Michael and Jennifer Seman, the pair behind the reflective name, have released a tiny tease of the forthcoming album. The song, "Come Closer," can be streamed from the duo's site. The dark tune is more experimental rock than anything else, with Jennifer's mostly monotone, breathy vocals laid over dissonant and pounding guitar and drum work.

Sounds Are Active expect to release a Denton mixtape soon, featuring SAtE and other bands from the area.
