Smile Smile streaming new song from upcoming album, Truth on Tape
The single, "Beg You to Stay," is a sweet and simple tune, punctuated by high-toned piano strikes.
Dallas piano pop duo Smile Smile has added a new song to its site to preview the forthcoming release of Truth on Tape.
The single, "Beg You to Stay," is a sweet and simple tune, with Ryan Hamilton taking the lead on vocals and Jencey Hirunrusme providing the upper-octave back-up. Despite the sad topic (a potential break-up), the song sounds somewhat upbeat, punctuated by high-toned piano strikes. "Beg You to Stay" is similar in sound, though not carbon copy, to the songs on Smile Smile's previous album, Blue Roses.
According to this post, Smile Smile will be previewing more songs on their MySpace, as well as the story behind the album, as the release date of Truth on Tape nears.
