A crime bulletin issued by the Dallas Police Department warns that the violence occurring in the Middle East might translate into activities directed against North Texas Jewish facilities.
About 40 facilities around Dallas are specifically identified in the report, which notes that incidents of suspicious surveillance have already been reported in other U.S. cities.
Any threat is expected to come from lone individuals, as opposed to organized groups; many local facilities are already very security-conscious.

Somehow I doubt the cops bothered to notify the mosques...

Could it be that there have been no threats against the mosques?

That's profiling, Tumbles.
How insensitive of you. (Not to say it, but to say it before me - I'm the card carrying jerk around here.)

Apparently you gotta refrain from dropping hard J's here on PN, otherwise story has lots of opportunity for comic relief imo.

So, let me get this right…The chatter over the wire is that there are Jewish centers that might be targeted by some lunatic fringe. But, in the name of political correctness, we have to pretend that there isn’t chatter or that Muslim centers are also included as targets in that chatter?
If anyone is curious as to why America loves Israel, it’s this. It is the only other country besides America on the whole planet whose people are held up to impossible standards. Give me a break!
Jason, I will see your jerk card and raise you one big fat butt-head card.
Don’t trip over each other on your way out of the room.

I'm pretty sure that Muslims haven't done anything wacky lately, hence not much concern about mosques.
